Greater Bergen REALTORS® Heads To Washington D.C. For The 2024 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings
Saddle Brook, NJ - May 13, 2024 - Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Executive leadership team, Board of Directors, and association committee leaders and members attended the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2024 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings in Washington D.C. on May 4-9, 2024. The five-day stretch of Legislative Meetings was an opportunity for over 9,000 REALTORS®, lawmakers, and industry leaders across the country to participate in critical public policy conversations to advance the real estate industry.

Saddle Brook, NJ - May 3, 2024 - On April 27, on National Rebuilding Day 2024, Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) nonprofit organization, the REALTORS® Care Foundation and the Community Service Committee joined forces with local nonprofit partner, Rebuilding Together North Jersey, in volunteering time and resources to repair and clean the home of a local homeowner in Teaneck, NJ.

Buyer Demand Is High Heading Into Spring Selling Season
Saddle Brook, NJ – April 23, 2024 – U.S. existing-home sales improved for the second month in a row, jumping 9.5% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.38 million units, exceeding economists’ expectations and marking the largest monthly gain in a year, according to the National Association of REALTORS®(NAR). The rebound in home sales comes amid fluctuating mortgage rates and elevated sales prices, indicating there is plenty of buyer demand heading into the spring selling season.

After an elegant champagne toast to all the hardworking and successful women in the room, the event began with a few shared words from 2024 DEI Committee Chair, Andre Porter.

Existing Home Sales Exceed Economists' Expectations By Marking Strongest Sales Price Since August 2023
Saddle Brook, NJ – March 22, 2024 – U.S. existing-home sales grew 3.1% month-over-month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.00 million, exceeding economists’ expectations and marking the strongest sales pace since August 2023, according to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Falling interest rates late last year, coupled with a recent uptick in inventory, helped existing-home sales to climb following last month’s decline, with monthly gains reported in the Midwest, South, and West regions.
