Fair Housing Resources
FAIR HOUSING
Fair housing is more than a list of dos and don’ts, rights and penalties, and mandatory continuing education. As stewards of the right to own, use and transfer private property, fair housing protects our livelihood and business as REALTORS® and depends on a free, open market that embraces equal opportunity.
NJ ATTORNEY GENERAL’S MEMORANDUM
The Attorney General’s memorandum outlines the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination to ensure that equal housing opportunities are provided for all. New Jersey property owners need to be aware of the federal and state laws against discrimination, regardless of residential or commercial purposes.
Revised Attorney General Memorandum as of October 2020
