Greater Bergen Realtors® Move to Final Stages of Strategic Plan Completion

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (April 22, 2021)Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) conducted a strategic plan workshop on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, with the guidance and mentorship of Clint Skutchan, VP of Organized Real Estate with T3 Sixty. This was done to feature the association’s core purpose, core values, and vision for future success while also identifying goalwhere GBR will direct its energy and resources over the next several years. As a result, the GBR workshop sought feedback from a diverse group which included committee members, NJMLS executive committee directors, REALTORS® Care Foundation trustees, staff, and directors. The participation by GBR members in the plan development process was robust and insightful. More than 1,100 individuals responded to the membership & leadership surveys.   

As a result, GBR will have a clear and concise Visionalong with core services that will be the focus of the association as it provides more significant benefits. President Alireza Memar said, “I am very pleased with the dialogue that took place at our last workshop meeting. I cannot thank my colleagues enough for being a part of this process, but more importantly, for the passion and commitment they have to this organization and the lengths they take to continue to make this the best board of choice in New Jersey. He continued, “I look forward to rolling out the final version of our strategic plan and what our vision will be for the two years for our organization. I encourage you to continue to stay tuned to see all the stellar things we have in store.”  

Chief Executive officer Jorge Ledesma added, “As we look to build out the blueprint for our association over the coming years, we needed to take a deep dive into our core values, redefine the benefits for our members and align our priorities with the changing real estate industry environment.” 

GBR views strategic planning as an ongoing process within the organization; therefore, the ongoing success of the set strategic plan will be assessed annually, and the plan will continue to be updated based on achievement and the changing needs of members and stakeholders.
