[Waldwick, NJ, September 21, 2021]-The Greater Bergen Realtors® Care Foundation (RCF) hosted its sixth Charity Golf & Tennis Outing at the Montammy Country Golf Club in Alpine, New Jersey, on Monday, September 21st, resuming a tradition which was interrupted last year by the Covid-19 pandemic. Approximately $17,500 was raised in support of local organizations invested in working and giving back to local communities in Bergen County. 140 Realtors® and industry professionals participated in the event. 

To date, the Foundation has provided grant funding to 50 organizations in Bergen County and awarded nearly $ 693,000 in grant monies.  

“This event allows us to support the foundation’s mission to support and give back to the communities our members live in, said RCF’s 2021 Trustee, Patricia Soudal.  We also welcomed the chance to mingle with colleagues and friends, in person, following the Covid-19 health emergency, without whom this event would not be such a huge success!” 

Golf & Tennis participants enjoyed a variety of friendly competitions as part of this year’s event, sponsored by NJ Lenders, which served as lead sponsor for the third time. Attendees enjoyed two mini-tournaments which included, Closest to the pin, and longest drive challenges. In addition, a 2021 Mercedes was up for grabs in the hole in one competition, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of Nanuet, NY, and Springfield, MA. Tennis players also enjoyed an outstanding afternoon that included a one-hour instructional clinic followed by a series of friendly matches.
