Waldwick, NJ – (October 25, 2021) Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) recently recognized Karen DeMarco (Coldwell Banker, Tenafly) with the Greater Bergen Realtors® 2021 Good Neighbor Award, for her extraordinary commitment to community service programs and improving the quality of life in her community and throughout the State of New Jersey. As part of the award, a $1,000 donation was made to Food Brigade in Dumont, NJ, a network of volunteers who assist in the acquisition, transport, preparation, distribution, and delivery of food to those in need, and were named as the community service organization of choice by the award recipient.

The award was presented as part of the Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Annual Meeting in Teaneck, which was the backdrop to bring association members and GBR leadership together to discuss the organization’s pending relocation of its headquarters to Saddle Brook, NJ, along with local and State and legislative updates from the National Association of Realtors® and NJ Realtors®.
