Saddle Brook, NJ – September 22, 2022 – Family Promise will be recognizing the Greater Bergen REALTORS®, REALTORS® Care Foundation with the Philanthropic Impact Award this year at their Annual Gala, “Many Roads Lead Home” to celebrate their years of commitment to the nonprofit organization. The REALTORS® Care Foundation 2022 President, Maureen Mamunes, will be accepting the honor on behalf of the organization.
For years, the REALTORS® Care Foundation has been a dedicated partner to Family Promise and has provided grants to the organization to help fulfil their mission to combat homelessness and hunger in local communities. They have participated in Family Promise’s Walk-In Dinner Program, which has served more than 1.2 million meals to neighbors in need since 1991. “I continue to be awed by the determination of the families we serve, the dedication of our staff and community partners, and the compassionate support we receive from donors like The REALTORS® Care Foundation”, says Executive Director, Kate Duggan. “Together, we succeed in helping families experiencing homelessness create their best pathways to housing stability and a secure future”.
Family Promise of Bergen County is hosting their 2022 Gala on Thursday, October 20th at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, NJ. The evening will include an exciting silent auction, cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, and an inspiring program honoring their partners and families.
The Gala will highlight the advancements of the Family Promise mission to empower working families and families at-risk for homelessness to become permanently self-sufficient by providing temporary shelter, homelessness prevention, and personalized support.
