Saddle Brook, NJ – December 1, 2022- Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) was proud to host the Veteran’s Memorial Plaque Unveiling Ceremony at their new shared headquarters with the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS) in Saddle Brook, NJ, on November 18, 2022. The memorial was dedicated to all who have served and sacrificed for the nation.
"Placed in the middle of our new headquarters is a 40-foot American Flagpole. A symbol of Unity, Strength and Freedom which correlates directly with our Association joining together, in one location with the New Jersey MLS. The flagpole, and the garden around it, is dedicated to American Veterans of all Branches of the Military; those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those honorably discharged and those who continue to serve their country.” -Nicola Esposito, GBR Board Director.
Greater Bergen REALTORS® is a non-for-profit organization that works collaboratively with other local organizations to expand their community outreach through fundraising and volunteerism. During the Veterans Memorial Ceremony, Bergen County Commissioners, Germaine Ortiz, Ramon M. Hache, Sr., and Mary Amoroso thanked our local veterans and spoke on the importance of community and philanthropy that Greater Bergen REALTORS® fosters in Bergen County.
Saddle Brook Mayor, Robert White, spoke on behalf of the town VFW Post 3484 and the American Legion, who raise awareness for the importance of services and benefits for local veterans. Mayor White thanked local veterans and Greater Bergen REALTORS® members in attendance, Bruce Elichman, Director of the REALTOR® Education Center, and Stephen Domenick, of Legacy Mortgage Group Inc., for their service and sacrifice for our country.
