Saddle Brook, NJ – December 27, 2022- The Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR), REALTORS® Care Foundation (RCF) welcomes their newly elected Board of Trustees for the year 2023.
Greater Bergen REALTORS®, REALTORS® Care Foundation is a charitable organization that gives focus and added strength to the association's tradition of giving back to the community. The mission of the REALTORS® Care Foundation is to provide support to those in need and improve the quality of life in the communities where members live and work.
The REALTORS® Care Foundation hosted their Grant Award Ceremony at the end of the year, where they distributed grant money to over 39 local charitable non-profit organizations. To date, the Foundation has raised over $1,000,000 in grant money to organizations that provide essential resources, housing, and education to families in need across Northern New Jersey.
In 2023, the REALTORS® Care Foundation will be organizing many fundraising events in collaboration with their partners from the non-profit organizations in the area. Looking ahead, the RCF will be hosting their annual charitable golf and tennis outing in the late summer, as well as other community events throughout the year.

The RCF is governed by the volunteer Board of Trustees, who serve those involved in the work of the foundation. GBR's REALTORS® Care Foundation Board of Trustees is comprised of eleven elected Trustees, one GBR Community Service Committee member, and the 2023 GBR President. The Chief Executive Officer for Greater Bergen Realtors® is appointed as the secretary for the foundation.
The REALTORS® Care Foundation is thrilled announce the 2023 President, Maureen Mamunes, who will serve her second year in the position, with Maria Gesualdi serving her second year as Vice President of the Foundation. GBR Chief Operating Officer, Jorge Ledesma, will remain secretary of the Foundation, with Patricia Sudal serving as the 2023 treasurer. The following members of GBR have been elected as REALTORS® Care Foundation Trustees and will begin their term in January 2023:
Serving one-year term: Gina Hernandez-Navarro, Jeanine Suderlund, Diane Rothman. Serving two-year term: Rose La Pira, Steve Grossman. Serving three-year term: Charlene Barbetta, Aaron Galileo, Jacqueline Frank, Shana Sanchez.
