Saddle Brook, NJ – April 6, 2023 – Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) 501c3 charity organization, the REALTORS® Care Foundation (RCF) was recently honored with the “Community Partner Award” at the 2023 Evening of Hope Gala of community partner, Center For Hope & Safety (CFHS).
RCF 2023 President, Maureen Mamunes, received the award on behalf of her fellow Board of Trustees, stating, ““The REALTORS Care Foundation is honored to be recognized by the Center For Hope & Safety, among other non-profit organizations that share a love and dedication to bettering our communities and those who need our help.”
Since its inception in 2015, the Greater Bergen REALTORS®, REALTORS® Care Foundation has awarded $1,274,000 in grants to 68 local non-profit organizations throughout Northern New Jersey. The mission of the REALTORS® Care Foundation is to provide support to those in need and to improve the quality of life in the communities where our members live and work.
Center for Hope & Safety’s relationship with REALTORS® Care Foundation began in 2015, when they were awarded a $5,000 grant on behalf of the RCF. Just three years later in 2019, the RCF provided the organization with a $10,000 grant to support Center for Hope & Safety’s Transitional Housing Program. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, when communities and families were severely in need, the donation to CFHS was doubled to $20,000.
The REALTORS® Care Foundation continues to support the CFHS Transitional Housing Program with donation grants, aiding in their ongoing mission of assisting domestic violence victims in Bergen County, New Jersey.
