Greater Bergen REALTORS® Hosts 2023 Annual Membership Meeting & Affiliate Trade Show at Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ for Over 400 Attendees

Saddle Brook, NJ – October 26, 2023 – Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) hosted their Annual Membership Meeting and Affiliate Tradeshow on Friday, October 20th for 400 attendees at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ. The free membership event was an opportunity for association members to network with fellow real estate and industry partners at the Affiliate Trade Show, hosted by Curbelo Law, Bond Street Mortgage, Campanella Law Office LLC, Big Centric Appliances, Think Mortgage, LCD Commercial Lending, Prestige Cleaning Service of Bergen County, Kelly Title Group, Jiffy Junk, New Jersey Lenders Corp. Mortgage Bankers, and Nu World Title.
Throughout the gourmet breakfast buffet, GBR President, Margaret Ajamian highlighted her 2023 campaign on the importance of health and wellness to maintain professional stamina and achieve success in the industry. GBR Vice President, Nicola Esposito, joined Mrs. Ajamian to launch applications to the GBR and NJMLS 2024 Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy is an educational and professional development program that identifies leaders among GBR members and provides them with the tools and knowledge to sharpen their skills to succeed.
At the Annual Meeting, several association items and applications were launched, including annual membership renewal dues billing, the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS) Board of Directors applications, and GBR’s 501-c3 charity organization, the REALTORS® Care Foundation (RCF) grant applications, and 2024 RCF Board of Trustees applications.
Following the annual 2024 association budget overview and motion, and Board of Directors nominations and motions, 2023 President-Elect, Lisa Comito, announced GBR’s yearly Good Neighbor Award Recipient, Debra Norman, and GBR’s REALTOR® of the Year, Immediate Past President, Robert Funabashi.
To end the program, Keynote Speaker, and best-selling author, Marki Lemons Ryhal captured the audience attention with her dynamic presentation, “Efficiency Boost: 13 Ways to Use AI and ChatGPT in Real Estate”, with an interactive question and answer segment to follow.
