Saddle Brook, NJ – December 8, 2023 – This week, Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Executive leadership team attended the New Jersey REALTORS® Award Ceremony at the 2023 REALTORS® Triple Play Convention and Trade Expo, in Atlantic City, NJ. GBR’s Immediate Past President, Robert Funabashi was honored at the ceremony, receiving the local real estate association REALTOR® of The Year Award on behalf of Greater Bergen REALTORS®. The session also honored Communications award winners, Quarter Century Club recipients, and REALTOR® Emeritus members.
The REALTORS® Triple Play Convention and Trade Expo is a three-day convention consisting of continuing education courses, special speaker events, and an industry Trade Expo floor featuring top industry exhibitors and organizations. The highly anticipated convention is a networking and professional development opportunity for REALTORS® across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Each year, GBR hosts their exclusive hospitality suite for their members to dine, relax, and work between classes and events. This year, as an additional benefit to members, GBR hosted the REACH Metro NY NJ Inaugural Innovation Showcase at the suite, presenting attendees with exciting pitches from property technology startup companies, NuOp and Summer.
Metro NY NJ is a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) REACH Lab aimed at engaging with investors and individuals in the tech community. A collective of Greater Bergen REALTORS®, Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®, and Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Metro NY NJ’s goal is to connect with startup property technology companies that offer value to their combined 50,000 REALTOR® members across New York, New Jersey, and Long Island.
