Saddle Brook, NJ - March 26, 2024 - Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Committee celebrated Women's History Month with their second annual Women's History Month: REALTORS® Across All Generations at GBR headquarters last week. After an elegant champagne toast to all the hardworking and successful women in the room, the event began with a few shared words from 2024 DEI Committee Chair, Andre Porter.

"I am inspired by the wonderful women around me in the real estate world, and what better way to honor Women's History Month than to celebrate and empower the women of all generations and backgrounds who make up the majority of this industry we work in," stated Porter.

The event was a lively panel discussion among six speakers, including Phyllis Taylor, Jaye Keaney, Soo Yu, Dalia Flores, Sumaya Ali, and Simone Pietrunti, moderated by 2024 DEI Committee Vice Chair, Marian Sasson-Albornoz. The discussion was an opportunity for the speakers across generations, differing backgrounds, and years in the business to share stories and insights into their diverse experiences within the real estate industry.

The exciting afternoon closed with special guest speaker, Allegra House, the State President of the Women's Council of REALTORS® New Jersey, followed by an inspiring message from GBR's 2024 President, Lisa Comito.
