Saddle Brook, NJ – May 22, 2024 –  Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) and the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS) 2024 Leadership Academy invited New Jersey REALTORS® (NJR) leadership to GBR headquarters in Saddle Brook, NJ on May 16, 2024 to speak in front of the 12 students in their final session of the semester for the 2024 program.

“We are bringing information from New Jersey REALTORS® to our class to help them prosper and give them resources so they can grow in their leadership journey,” stated GBR 2024 President-Elect, Nicola Esposito.

During the panel session, New Jersey REALTORS® CEO, Jarrod Grasso, 2024 President, Gloria Monks, and Vice President of Government Affairs, Douglas Tomson provided an informative breakdown of the state association, including their integral work in supporting the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) to advocate and protect homeownership rights.

“Our goal is to educate the class on the value that the REALTOR® brand, and what New Jersey REALTORS®, brings to the industry on a state level," stated NJR CEO, Jarrod Grasso. "I encourage everybody to get involved on a local and state level. You are valuable in protecting and moving our industry forward.”

The exclusive session was an opportunity for the Leadership Academy to hear insights into current state and national legislative updates pertaining to real estate, and New Jersey REALTORS® advocacy efforts during their recent visit to Washington D.C. for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2024 REALTOR® Legislative Meetings.

The Leadership Academy is the culmination of an important initiative from GBR and the NJMLS; to identify leaders among our members and provide them with the tools and knowledge to sharpen their skills to succeed. The graduation ceremony for the 2024 class will commence at GBR's 2024 Midyear Meeting and Affiliate Trade Show.
