FORT LEE, NJ (July 23, 2025) — Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) brought together more than 80 real estate professionals for an evening of education, insight, and networking at the Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee. Co-hosted by the Young Professional Network (YPN) and Professional Development Committees, the event—Top Producer Panel: How To Be Successful In Tough Times, Tips From The Experts—featured five leading industry voices: Sean Farley, Henry Song, Merna Testino, Connie Vavra, and Kelly Weber.

Panelists shared their strategies for navigating today’s evolving market, offering real-world advice and highlighting the habits that drive long-term success. Topics included team dynamics, residential sales, condominiums, co-ops, and adapting to changing client needs.

Xavier Vargas, YPN Chair, called the evening “a highly successful and insightful event,” noting the wide range of experiences and expertise represented. Michael Thorry, Chair of the Professional Development Committee, added, “There was a lot of overlap in their approach. Top agents tend to focus on simple but powerful principles—consistency, transparency, and accountability.”

National YPN speaker Connie Vavra shared how her involvement with NAR helped grow her business and referral network through national connections and leadership opportunities.

The panel was followed by a networking social with light fare and refreshments.
