Saddle Brook, NJ – August 13, 2025 – The Greater Bergen Realtors® (GBR) Community Outreach Committee proudly wrapped up another successful initiative of giving back with the 2025 Annual Back-to-School Backpack Supply Drive. Thanks to the generosity of GBR members and community partners, and local donors, dozens of kids will start the school year equipped and ready to learn.
The backpacks, generously donated by Luminate Bank and Built Right Generators LLC, were filled with essential school supplies, including notebooks, glue sticks, crayons, and more. The filled backpacks will be delivered to children supported by the CAMP Youth Development Program and Never Alone Again Resource Center, both of which are committed to empowering youth and assisting families in need.
“This Drive allows us to equip students with supplies needed and to begin the year prepared, confident, and ready to dream big,” said committee chair Hilda Williams. “Together, we make a difference, one backpack at a time.”
GBR’s Community Outreach Committee organized the drive, encouraging individual, brokerage office, and committee contributions. Donations were collected both in person and through an Amazon registry, ensuring maximum participation and convenience for supporters.
