Saddle Brook, NJ - March 28, 2025 - Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Young Professionals Network (YPN) hosted their annual kick-off event, Bowling For Charity With YPN at Bowler City in Hackensack, NJ for over 70 attendees. The charitable event was a fun opportunity to raise money to support the National Association of REALTORS®, REALTORS® Relief Foundation.

The REALTORS® Relief Foundation provides housing-related assistance to disaster impacted communities in the United States through the generosity of REALTORS®, state and local associations and industry partners.

Thanks to the generous support of attendees and event sponsors Main Street Title & Settlement Service LLC, Carlos J Capellan Insurance Agency Inc., Caring Hearts Home Care, Rate, and Bond Street Mortgage, YPN was able to raise over $3,900.00 for the foundation's mission to provide direct aid to victims of the recent California wildfires.

Saddle Brook, NJ - June 18, 2024 - Greater Bergen REALTORS® hosted the annual Midyear Meeting& Affiliate Trade Show last week at the Teaneck Marriott At Glenpointe for over 300 members.

The highly anticipated event began with a gourmet breakfast and networking in the grand ballroom, where members mingled and met with event sponsors, Main Street Title & Settlement Services; Think Mortgage; Top Notch Moving & Storage LLC.; Ferrer Goldfine Law Group; Clever Inspections; NJ Lenders Corp. After opening remarks from GBR Chief Executive Officer, Jorge Ledesma, 2024 President, Lisa Comito took the stage, addressing members: "Greater Bergen REALTORS empowers the success of those we serve by focusing on connections, advocacy, resources, and education. Our goal this year is to highlight our REALTOR value to the public, our value as an association to our members, and a focus on helping you with health and mental well-being."

Saddle Brook, NJ - May 3, 2024 - On April 27, on National Rebuilding Day 2024, Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) nonprofit organization, the REALTORS® Care Foundation and the Community Service Committee joined forces with local nonprofit partner, Rebuilding Together North Jersey, in volunteering time and resources to repair and clean the home of a local homeowner in Teaneck, NJ.

Saddle Brook, NJ – January 9, 2024 - Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Community Service Committee partnered with Jersey Cares for the 2023 Annual Winter Coat Drive, a collection of over 600 new and gently used winter coats of all sizes for local communities throughout the months of November and December.

This year, thanks to participating GBR brokerage offices, Berkshire Hathaway Home Service, Hasbrouck Heights; Christie’s International Real Estate Group, Ridgewood; Coldwell Banker, Allendale; Corcoran Infinity Properties, Cresskill and Rivervale; Keller Williams Town Life, Tenafly; Liberty 100 Realty, Waldwick and Re/Max Home Signatures, Closter, the committee collected over 600 coats – their second year reaching a record-breaking number of donations since their partnership with the organization.

Saddle Brook, NJ – December 8, 2023 – This week, Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Executive leadership team attended the New Jersey REALTORS® Award Ceremony at the 2023 REALTORS® Triple Play Convention and Trade Expo, in Atlantic City, NJ. GBR’s Immediate Past President, Robert Funabashi was honored at the ceremony, receiving the local real estate association REALTOR® of The Year Award on behalf of Greater Bergen REALTORS®. The session also honored Communications award winners, Quarter Century Club recipients, and REALTOR® Emeritus members.

Saddle Brook, NJ – October 26, 2023 – Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) hosted their Annual Membership Meeting and Affiliate Tradeshow on Friday, October 20^th for 400 attendees at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ. The free membership event was an opportunity for association members to network with fellow real estate and industry partners at the Affiliate Trade Show, hosted by Curbelo Law, Bond Street Mortgage, Campanella Law Office LLC, Big Centric Appliances, Think Mortgage, LCD Commercial Lending, Prestige Cleaning Service of Bergen County, Kelly Title Group, Jiffy Junk, New Jersey Lenders Corp. Mortgage Bankers, and Nu World Title.

Saddle Brook, NJ – July 28, 2023 –During their month-long campaign, the Back-To-School Backpack-A-Thon, the Greater Bergen REALTORS® (GBR) Community Service Committee alongside the GBR REALTORS® Care Foundation, collected school supplies and classroom essentials at GBR headquarters and several participating GBR brokerage locations in Bergen County.

Last week, a team of dedicated volunteer members participated in the successful packing event of 300 backpacks, which were then distributed to four local non-profit organizations who partnered with the committee for the cause.
