Dear Greater Bergen Association of REALTORS® Members,

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your 2026 President of the Greater Bergen Association of REALTORS®. As we begin a new year together, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the trust you have placed in me and my commitment to work tirelessly on your behalf. Our association has long been recognized as one of the most dynamic, engaged, and forward-thinking REALTOR® communities in New Jersey, and I am proud to help lead us into a year of progress, innovation, and unity.

The real estate industry is in the midst of one of the most transformative periods in its history. We face shifting consumer expectations, new regulatory landscapes, legal challenges, rapid technological disruption, and evolving brokerage models. Affordability remains a national concern, inventory shortages continue to strain buyers and REALTORS® alike, and the role of the real estate professional is undergoing intense public scrutiny. These challenges are real, and they demand thoughtful, proactive, and strategic leadership.

But challenges also create opportunity—and this is where our association shines. GBR has never been content to simply react. We are an association that anticipates what’s coming, embraces modern solutions, and equips our members to lead rather than follow. In 2026, we will double down on that philosophy.

Our plan for the year focuses on several key initiatives:

Strengthening Professionalism:

We will expand training, raise standards, and support our members in demonstrating unmatched value to consumers. Professionalism will remain the foundation of our identity and our competitive advantage.

Advancing Technology and Innovation:

GBR will continue investing in tools, education, and partnerships that keep our members ahead of industry shifts. Whether it’s leveraging AI, enhancing digital marketing, or navigating emerging transaction platforms, our goal is to ensure every member is prepared for the market of tomorrow.

Advocating for Homeownership and Fair Housing:

We will continue to be a strong, recognized voice for homeowners, communities, and private property rights. Our legislative and governmental affairs efforts will remain aggressive, strategic, and deeply member-focused.

Supporting Brokers and Agents Through Change:

From evolving compensation structures to new business models, our association will provide guidance, clarity, and resources so that our members can adapt confidently and successfully.

Strengthening Our Community:

We are more than an association—we are a network of professionals committed to each other’s success. Through events, volunteer leadership, community outreach, and education, we will ensure member connection and collaboration remain at the heart of GBR.

As we look ahead, I am filled with optimism. Yes, the industry is changing. But so are we. And we are changing in ways that make us stronger, smarter, and more united.
