2026 Membership Dues Billing

Welcome to the 2026 Membership Dues Billing page. Below you will find helpful information that answers all of your billing questions and concerns.

Understanding Your Invoice & Paying Your Dues:

To complete your Membership Dues Billing payment, you will need your NRDS NUMBER and PASSWORD (default password: gbr) to log onto the secure site and make the payment.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. First you are going to open your web browser and type in GreaterBergenRealtors.com
  2. Once the page is loaded you are going to select the “Login” button on the top right-hand side of your screen.
  3. Slightly Scroll down and you will be prompted to type in your LoginID, which is your NRDS#. If you have forgotten your NRDS# there is clickable link for you to retrieve it (https://login.connect.realtor/#!/forgotmember)
  4. Your default password should be lower case gbr (standing for Greater Bergen Realtors) unless you have changed it. If you are unsure, you can select the “Forgot Your Password?” button to retrieve it.
  5. Once signed in, slightly scroll down. You will see on the right-hand side “Balance Due” and the “Pay Now” button. Select the “Pay Now” to move to the next screen.
  6. Here you will be viewing your unpaid invoices. You are going to check off the “Pay Now” section on the right. If you do not check it off it will not proceed to the next screen.
  7. Once selected, you are going to select “Continue” on the bottom to review your charges before paying.
  8. Here you will see that there will be two Voluntary charges on your account. One for a RPAC Investment and the other REALTORS® Care Foundation. If you wish to contribute more or less, you will be able to select the word “Modify” next to each voluntary charge, which a pop up will appear for you to type in the amount you prefer. Once entered you will click “OK” to continue.
  9. Once you are all set with your charges you will select the credit card button to bring you to the Credit Card Information page. We do NOT save any of your credit card information.
  10. Once you type in your credit card information you will select submit. You will receive a notice that you have then successfully paid your dues, following with a confirmation e-mail.

A $100.00 Late Fee will be applied on January 10, 2026.

  • A $100 reinstatement fee will be applied on February 1st, plus the $100 late fee will be required for reactivation.
  • Any member who has not renewed their membership by March 1, 2026, will be inactivated from GBR, NJR, NAR and NJMLS for non-payment. 
  • Any member who has not renewed their membership by March 31, 2026, incurs an NJR Late Fee.
  • A $50 processing fee will be assessed on all returned checks.

No hard copy invoice or statement will be mailed.

All membership dues and fees are nonrefundable.


Membership dues and fees to NAR, NJR, and GBR are not deductible as charitable contributions but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense subject to restrictions imposed as a result of association lobbying activities.

Compliance with the Tax Reform Act of 1993 requires that the portion of dues attributable to lobbying and political activities at the State and Federal levels of government be considered nondeductible for income tax purposes.

For 2026, with dues at $156 per member, NAR computes 35 percent or $55 to be nondeductible for the member's income tax purposes due to NAR lobbying efforts. Please note that the entire $45 NAR Consumer Advertising Campaign Special Assessment qualifies as fully deductible.

The NAR Board of Directors at its annual meeting on June 5, 2025, approved NAR's 2026 budget which keeps the NAR dues unchanged at $156/annual and $45/annual special assessment for the Consumer Ad Campaign. The approved budget also reallocates $35 of the special assessment for NAR's general operating account. The remaining $10 will go towards the Consumer Ad Campaign.

For 2026, with NJR dues at $145 per member, New Jersey REALTORS computes 10 percent or $14.00 to be nondeductible for the member's income tax purposes due to New Jersey REALTORS® lobbying efforts. This non-deductible percentage represents the amount that cannot be claimed as a business expense by REALTORS® members on their 2026 tax returns.


For 2026, with Greater Bergen REALTORS® dues at $215 per member, GBR computes that 3 percent of your dues or $6.45 is to be nondeductible for income tax purposes due to GBR’s lobbying and political activities.

 

For 2026, with NJR dues at $145 per member, New Jersey REALTORS computes 12 percent or $17.40 to be nondeductible for the member's income tax purposes due to New Jersey REALTORS® lobbying efforts.

 

For 2026, with dues at $156 per member, NAR computes 35 percent or $55 to be nondeductible for the member's income tax purposes due to NAR lobbying efforts. Please note that the entire $45 NAR Consumer Advertising Campaign Special Assessment qualifies as fully deductible.


Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. RPAC contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes.

Voluntary donations made to the REALTORS® Care Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your donation.
